It started when I was four years old and I had a decision to make; do I want to be Indiana Jones, or do I want to invent my own heroes?
This thought still drives my work and creative thinking, specialising in character design and painting sculptures and vinyl toys. This work references pop culture, history and art in a figurative form. As well as gaining a cult following with my painted reinterpretations of other designers established figures I have also worked with industry leaders like Kidrobot, Android/DeadZebra, Pobber Toys and Peugeot to develop and produce my own characters and intellectual property.
My themes vary from fine art to pop culture and on to historical culture; exploring craft, history and nature to develop new characters and artistic avenues to explore.
In 2017 I won the Artist of the Year award at the prestigious Designer Toy Awards, this was followed up in 2018 with an award for Custom of the Year as well as Mini Series of the Year for my work on the Arcane Divination Dunny Series with J*RYU and Kidrobot.
