AK49’ is a young brand focused on designing toys with offbeat universes.
For the 10th edition of UK Toycon, we present 3 sets.
Emerging as Art Toys, "Ogul and Nycya" were then developed as comic book characters and even an animated series. The story : in 1950s Americana, 2 kids and a dog try to survive and defend their way of life. The Crappy Halloween set shows our characters in shredded cat and frog costumes.
"The Last Gunfight" characters come from a goofy short film with cowboys that are… dinosaurs! You'll discover main character Marshal T-West as a quiet yet powerful triceratops.
At last, a brand new series called "Cult" with characters coming from the margins of commercial cinema. First set stages film director Ed Wood (called "worst director of all time") and his actors from the movie "Plan 9 from Outer Space". The set is a homage to this strange and sincere artist.
